YubiHSM2 FIPS and YubiHSM2 for Boeing CSCT Application customers

Boeing has identified the Yubico YubiHSM 2 as a USB Hardware Security Module (HSM) device that will meet key and certificate management requirements identified in ATA Spec 42, Level 4.

The Yubico YubiHSM 2 device provides advanced cryptographic functionality and support for multiple cryptographic providers within a small USB form-factor.

To make the transition to HSM key management easier, we’ve partnered up with Yubico to offer a discount for a short period of time on the YubiHSM 2 device for airline operators. The discount is available through the Yubico online store (https://Yubico.com/store).

**Boeing recommends purchasing 3 total keys: 2 for use and an additional one as a backup**

The CSCT USB-HSM Configuration and Usage Guide (Boeing document #D6-87003) provides Boeing Configuration Item Signer Crater Tool (CSCT) workstation and application configuration details, as well as, the processes required to configure and integrate Yubico’s YubiHSM 2 device with the CSCT application.
