YubiEnterprise Services update: Single sign-on capabilities for greater enterprise scale and speed

Yubico’s YubiEnterprise Subscription pioneers hardware multi-factor authentication (MFA), the gold standard of enterprise authentication, as a phishing-resistant MFA ‘as-a-Service’ model that helps organizations save money and gain flexibility while experiencing faster rollouts. As part of consistently delivering value to organizations that are raising the bar for security at scale, we are prioritizing delivering meaningful updates to YubiEnterprise Subscription on a monthly basis.

Today, we’re excited to announce these latest updates, including:

  • Self-service SSO activation for YubiEnterprise Console
  • Enterprise Single Sign-On capabilities via Google Workspace/GSuite
  • Improved user experience with left-hand navigation menu enhancements

With these enhancements YubiEnterprise Subscription continues to make it easy and flexible for enterprises to adopt modern MFA at great scale. With the YubiKey and our enhanced services, Yubico can help protect your company, your employees, and your customers against malicious hackers in an effort to stop account takeovers.

Self-service SSO activation for YubiEnterprise Console
Self-enablement of Single Sign-On (SSO) to YubiEnterprise Console allows customers to self-activate SSO for YubiEnterprise Console with their supported Identity Provider without having to contact Yubico. SSO can be configured from the Console following a few simple steps within minutes.

Once activated and enabled, customers can continue to log into the YubiEnterprise Console leveraging their existing IdP. This new capability not only raises the bar for security, but also enhances efficiency and speed of enterprise authentication into the Console.

Initially, the YubiEnterprise Console added support for SSO with Microsoft Azure and Okta Identity Providers (IdPs) . Recently, YubiEnterprise Console added SSO support for Google Workspace/GSuite as well.

IdP’s that YubiEnterprise Console officially supports have been tested, validated and documented. Regardless of whether or not your IdP is supported, we have made it easy to self-enable any IdP that supports SAML. If you are working with an unsupported IdP that you would like to see officially supported, please contact your Yubico representative. Learn more here.

Enterprise Single Sign-On Capabilities via the Google Workspace/GSuite
Yubico works closely with IdP partners to help enable account takeover prevention solutions that provide security and convenience. A recent update enabled customers using Microsoft or Okta as their IdP to leverage SSO for enterprise authentication into the YubiEnterprise Console. Now, organizations can enjoy additional IdP support with SSO via Google Workspace/GSuite. Learn more here.

Improved user experience with left-hand navigation menu enhancements
The user interface (UI) of YubiEnterprise Console has been enhanced to offer a more intuitive user experience. A few examples include:

  • Smoother navigation using latest UI components –  Horizontal navigation menu is now a left sidebar.
  • Collapsible menu – Sections can be expanded/collapsed as needed. With the expansion of menu options, users can see a more segmented view allowing for easier scanning and action.

Subscription contributes to customers’ ROI
