Yubico CEO Acknowledged for Business Achievements

PALO ALTO, Calif. and STOCKHOLM, Oct. 06, 2011 — For the second year in a row the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 2011 Achievement Awards; a gala to honor and celebrate the successful achievers and local contributors that enhance commerce, collaboration and cultural exchange between Sweden and the U.S. Out of 12 submitted nominations in the Women’s Achievement Award category, Stina Ehrensvärd is one of the three finalists.

In total, 39 nominations have been submitted in the three award categories, which indicates that this young award has established a widespread reputation in the Swedish-American business community.

The winners will be determined by a jury consisting of high-profile business individuals, including Rikard Steiber, Global Ads Marketing Director at Google, and Jan Uddenfeldt, Chief Technology Officer at Sony Ericsson. Nils Welin, chairman of the SACC-SF/SV board, points out that it has been a challenging task for the jury:

– It is a group of highly qualified nominations for the 2011 Achievement Awards, he says. This year’s starting field confirms that there is a large number of candidates for this prestigious award and it has been difficult to determine the winners in the different categories.

Tickets for the 2011 Achievment Awards gala dinner, taking taking place at the City Club of San Francisco on October 8th, are on sale at www.achievementawards.eventbrite.com.
