For Linux users

On Linux you can use standard command line tool `lsusb` to determine your YubiKeys firmware version. On most linux distributions these tools should be installed already.

Open a terminal, and run the following command: lsusb -v 2>/dev/null|grep -A2 Yubico|grep bcdDevice The output should be similar to this: bcdDevice 4.26 Note that this number is formatted with a single period rather than our standard two period notation. In the example above, the output `4.26` corresponds to firmware version `4.2.6`.
