Security Technical Program Manager

Yubico is seeking an experienced Security Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join our team and help secure the Internet.We protect the company that creates a safer internet and you will help in all aspects of that. You will be a force multiplier in the Yubico Enterprise Security team, ensuring that the team delivers at peak efficiency and driving our compliance with regulatory requirements and vendor requests. You will assess the current state and design solutions to protect a fast-growing pre-IPO startup, and enable us to grow in new and innovative ways. You will be a key player in defining and managing the deliverables for the security team and will lead our tracking and reporting work. You will work with our chief security architect to build policies, frameworks, and strategies to enable success and to protect our customers.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Chief Security Architect to manage the security program
  • Influence security goals the organization as a whole
  • Manage the security compliance program for regulatory compliance for products and manufacturing (FIPS, Common Criteria, etc)
  • Identify need for policies, standards, guidelines, and processes and develop documentation to fill that need
  • Build processes, systems, and tools to track and meet security goals
  • Implement regular reporting and project tracking
  • Design and implement a tracking system for project deliverables
  • Design and implement a metrics-based management system
  • Manage the release process for security-related development projects
  • Manage the vendor security review program, including both responding to inbound reviews using standardized responses, as well as tracking outbound vendor reviews
  • Manage the security training program

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3-5 years of program management experience
  • 3-5 years of other technical experience
  • Experience with common project management methods and software
  • Ability to automate reporting and metrics
  • 1+ years of experience writing security policies or related documentation

Optional Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Electrical and/or Computer Engineering, or similar fields; or equivalent experience
  • Experience working in a security organization
  • Experience with common project management methods and software
  • Knowledge of FIDO U2F standard, smart cards, and cryptography is a major plus
  • Documented project management and/or release process management experience

Job Details

  • Preferred location is near Seattle, Washington
  • Candidate must be able to travel to other offices in Stockholm, Silicon Valley, and Seattle. Expected travel frequency is at least quarterly
  • Start date: immediately
