Sales Director, Federal Government

Yubico is looking for a dynamic, experienced Sales Director or Senior Sales Director to join our expanding US Federal Government sales team.  This individual will work with our rapidly growing Federal Government customer base and prospects to drive Yubico revenue and enterprise utilization throughout departments and agencies.  We welcome a strong individual who has deep knowledge of the Federal Government and a track record of success!

Revenue booked is a critical measure, but this role is so much more. It’s also about changing the world and bringing Trust back into our digital world for the US Federal Agencies and Departments!

Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute your strategic and tactical business plan to drive revenue and large scale adoption of YubiKeys within your area of the US Federal Government.   
    • Own the revenue number (sell to and sell through) for your area by:
      • Expanding existing relationships
      • Defining and landing new strategic relationships
      • Providing thought leadership to customers and, when available, at industry events.
    • Develop strong Fed Government champions who actively advocate for Yubico
    • Report to the Regional VP for the Government and East sales teams as well as work directly with marketing and operations to drive scalable and efficient fulfillment
    • Develop the Yubico partner community to service the needs of your customers and prospects.

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role
  • Deep understanding and experience in selling technology to the US Federal Government
  • Track record of over achievement in selling, in both direct sales and through government contractors and SI’s, specifically to the US Federal Government
  • Comfortable having both business and high level technical conversations with a CTO, CIO or CISO for Federal Government agencies and departments
  • Ideally, understand the IT security marketplace
  • Ideally, based in Washington, DC area
