Yubico founder awarded prestigious business prize

Yubico founder and CEO, Stina Ehrensvärd has been awarded "Entrepreneur of the Year" in the Swedish business award "The Most Powerful Swedish Business Woman 2008."

The award was announced on the evening of March 5th in the presence of Crown Princess of Sweden in the Town Hall of Stockholm, a building also known for holding The Nobel Prize dinner. The award ceremony was conducted by the Swedish business magazine "Veckans Affärer".


The motivation of the prize jury: "She is a series entrepreneur who has now dicovered a simple solution for login keys to the Internet. Already when she started Cypak, her previous company she has won fame and recognition. The new company, Yubico, has at least the same potential for success. The entrepreneur of the year is Stina Ehrensvärd, CEO and founder of Yubico!"
