YubiHSM – securing secrets on servers

Linux Disk Encryption

A proof of concept for using the YubiKey to encrypt the entire hard drive on a Linux computer has been developed by Tollef Fog Heen, a long time YubiKey user and Debian package maintainer.

New Palo Alto office

We have moved our North America Yubico Inc. office to downtown Palo Alto, in the heart of Silicon Valley. Later this summer Stina, Yubico CEO, will also be moving to Palo Alto to expand our collaboration with leading cloud services.


The dog test

We have heard stories of YubiKeys surviving laundry, diving 48 meters down in salt water and being run over by a car. Last week a developer told us his YubiKey had been eaten up by his dog. Luckily no animals or YubiKeys were harmed. For a day, the dog was perhaps extra secure with integrated support for OTP…
